How Are You Planning To Grow Next Year ?
At this time of the year, when I see all my clients finalising their Learning & Development Budget for next year, I can’t help feeling optimistic about organisations really getting behind the idea of growing people…yet I reflect on my own growth strategy as an independent wondering how I should approach things, how much I should invest in my own growth next year (not talking only money here)?
How do you do it? How do you embrace your own growth in – or out – of the office?
I find that that turning to others for insight is the best way to go about it – asking for feedback will always create the necessary space to start getting ideas about self-growth… discussing what others are considering can also reveal new territories to explore…talking about their recent or distant learning experiences can always provide alternatives to consider….growth is about the journey as much as the destination, and I feel others can be a fantastic source of inspiration.
